Creative Tips with Serafin the Sea Lion

This spiral-bound educational picture-book is recommended for children from age 6 upwards.

Readers are guided through the book by Serafin the sea lion – the mascot of the gallery’s educational centre – who gives 30 fun tips for creative activities inspired by artworks from the gallery’s collections.

Each double-page spread features a reproduction of one artwork from the gallery’s collections accompanied by a description, a brief profile of the artist, and a tip for a creative activity – including instructions and a list of materials that are needed for the activity.

The book helps develop children’s creativity, creative thinking, artistic sensibility, interest in art, personal growth and fine motor skills.
